Daphnis and Chloe Wild Thyme Flowers

The purple flowers of thyme are collected one by one across the Cyclades and the Ionian coast of Epirus. They belong to the hardly known capitatus variety, the same thyme that the ancient Greeks used. Thanks to their earthy and spicy aroma, they are great w/ salads, boiled vegetables & white meat.
