Portland, OR. January 6, 2025 - Portland-based startup Spritz King will be displaying their two new products at the 2025 Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas, NV. Spritz King was founded by a grilling aficionado and foodie from Portland, Oregon. Toby Forsberg was always looking for a solution to adding more flavor, sealing in moisture and creating the optimal bark on smoked meats. He learned through the process that there was a science behind spritzing and outcomes can greatly differ. In his quest to maximize the outer crust, create a robust smoke ring and seal in moisture, he learned that he needed professional help in refining his already effective and delicious spritz.
Spritz King will be debuting their Original and Chipotle flavors. The Original Spritz combines apple cider vinegar, apple juice concentrate, tamari, garlic, red peppers and dried tomatoes for a sweet and savory blend. The Chipotle Spritz marries those same natural ingredients with the addition of chipotle, cumin and other natural flavors for a bright, smoky and mildly spicy kick.
Forsberg says, “Both product recipes were specifically designed by professionals to maximize moisture retention and boost flavors, while enhancing a crisp exterior. They work particularly well on food cooked in smokers and air fryers, and can be used on both raw and prepared foods using a myriad of cooking methods.” Ingredients are all-natural and contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. “We are looking forward to taking part in the 2025 Winter Fancy Foods Show and introducing our spritz to buyers and consumers within the New Product category,” said Forsberg.
